Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has introduced a new 2G flip phone designed specifically for senior citizens, called the Nokia 2360 Flip. The device includes tools like parental controls, an SOS function, and family assistance capabilities.
The Family Assist application allows relatives to configure and manage the phone remotely via SMS without requiring a data plan. Through this app, users can update contacts, manage volume levels, set reminders, and configure emergency settings from afar.
A dedicated emergency button lets users call a designated number and text up to five emergency contacts simultaneously when held down for three seconds. The phone also includes School Mode, which functions as a parental control feature to block certain applications and restrict communications.
Designed for accessibility, the mobile device features large menu icons, clear text, a 2.8-inch primary screen, a 1.77-inch external display, and a loud loudspeaker. It packs a removable 1,450 mAh battery offering up to 15 days of standby time and is available in Charcoal, Burgundy Red, and Teal.
