According to officials, the victims placed orders through the website www.openlifevedixa.com in late September but never received their products. Investigators traced a total of ₹2,66,437 in fraudulent funds across two bank accounts connected to the suspects.
During questioning, the accused admitted to sharing bank details to receive payments in exchange for a commission. Police recovered a mobile phone containing the website link and messages between the two men.
Authorities are currently working to identify the website operator and any additional associates involved in the scheme. The public is encouraged to use the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal or the 1930 helpline to report suspected digital fraud.
