- Third-quarter revenue rose 12% to over €6 billion, exceeding analyst expectations.

Capgemini has updated its 2026 financial outlook for the second time this year following a strong third-quarter performance. The company reported revenues of €6,073 million, representing an 11.7% increase at constant exchange rates compared to the previous year.
Company leadership noted that the surge in revenue is tied to clients moving beyond AI experimentation toward enterprise-scale deployment. This shift is driving significant demand for modernizing data systems and technology foundations, which officials described as a necessary step for adopting advanced AI agents.
Regional performance was particularly strong in North America, where revenues grew by 18.3%, and the United Kingdom and Ireland, which saw a 25.2% increase. The Asia-Pacific and Latin America region also reported double-digit growth of 11.9%, aided by recent acquisitions.
As of late September 2026, the firm's total workforce grew to 417,500 employees. While the overall headcount rose by 18% year-on-year due to integrations, the number of employees actually decreased slightly compared to the end of 2025.
Why It Matters
The performance of major IT consultancies like Capgemini serves as a barometer for the global technology sector, particularly as businesses in North America and Asia-Pacific transition from experimenting with AI to signing large-scale implementation contracts. The firm's heavy reliance on an offshore workforce, which remains stable at 66%, highlights the continued importance of global delivery models in the evolving AI landscape.
