The officer's wife, IPS officer Prashakha Mathur, is also under scrutiny as some of the properties were reportedly registered in her name. Both officials have been placed on Awaiting Posting Orders following the initiation of the probe.
The investigation is being conducted under the Prevention of Corruption Act. Officials are currently reviewing whether the transactions involved illegal collusion between the public servants and the management of the resort company.
