CSK and SRH Finalize Four-Player Trade Ahead of IPL 2027

The Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad have completed a four-player trade deal ahead of the IPL 2027 season. The agreement, which precedes the November 17 transfer deadline, sees Liam Livingstone and Jack Edwards move to Chennai, while Khaleel Ahmed and Nathan Ellis head to Hyderabad.

Liam Livingstone joins the Chennai squad for Rs 6 crore, a reduction from his previous Rs 13 crore valuation. He is joined by Jack Edwards, who moves at his current fee of Rs 3 crore after missing the previous season due to a foot injury.

Sunrisers Hyderabad welcomes back left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed, who previously played for the franchise from 2018 to 2021. He joins the team at a value of Rs 4.8 crore following his tenure with Chennai.

Rounding out the trade, Australian bowler Nathan Ellis moves to Hyderabad at a fee of Rs 2 crore. Officials noted that Ellis is expected to provide depth to the team's pace attack, particularly during the final overs of matches.
