Shah Rukh Khan Marks 61st Birthday With Family and Fan Surprises

Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his 61st birthday with a private event at the Taj hotel in South Mumbai alongside family and friends. Reports indicate his children, Suhana and Aryan Khan, attended the late-night festivities, which continued into the early hours of Monday morning.

Despite the private nature of the party, the actor made a brief appearance for fans waiting outside the hotel. He acknowledged the cheering crowd by waving and blowing kisses before departing in his vehicle.

Security was significantly increased at the actor's Bandra residence, Mannat, where Mumbai Police installed barricades and monitored arriving vehicles. Khan currently maintains a self-funded Y+ security cover based on previous threat assessments.

To mark the occasion, the actor shared a handwritten message thanking his supporters for their loyalty. He also used his residence as a backdrop to debut a song from his next film, King, which features Deepika Padukone and music by Arijit Singh and Ed Sheeran.

The upcoming film, directed by Siddharth Anand, is scheduled for a global theatrical release in December 2026. Early footage suggests the movie will feature a mix of romantic themes and action sequences centered on illegal smuggling.
