Zaheer Iqbal and Sonakshi Sinha Discuss New Thriller and On-Screen Dynamic

Actors Zaheer Iqbal and Sonakshi Sinha have transitioned from their public image as a playful couple to portray a more intense, possessive dynamic in the thriller 'Tu Hai Meri Kiran'. Released on October 23, 2026, the film features the pair navigating a relationship that shifts from engagement to marriage.

Iqbal noted that he dedicated significant effort to his character, participating in numerous workshops to ensure the performance was distinct from his off-screen personality. The couple intentionally avoided romantic roles that would feel too similar to their social media presence, opting instead for a project with greater shock value.

Reflecting on his career, Iqbal recalled his unexpected entry into the film industry. He was discovered by Salman Khan while dancing at his sister's wedding, an opportunity he describes as a fortunate blessing that he does not take for granted.

Regarding his personal views on relationships, Iqbal suggested that possessiveness is often influenced by the security partners provide one another. He also addressed online criticism, stating that he and Sinha generally choose to ignore negative commentary.
