The travelling pop-up exhibition celebrating homegrown Indian brands has arrived in Hyderabad for a two-day showcase. Hosted at CCT Spaces in Banjara Hills, the event brings together more than 25 independent labels spanning fashion, jewellery, and craft-led lifestyle items.
Founded by Bijaya Dutta, the six-year-old platform was created to bridge a gap for independent designers and creative entrepreneurs who have strong craftsmanship but lack access to the right audience. The current edition features a diverse mix extending beyond womenswear, including menswear, kidswear, men's footwear, and specialized jewellery collections.
Participating labels bring a variety of traditional and modern techniques, such as hand-block-printed shirts, handwoven Bengal fabrics, sculptural gold pieces, and upcycled materials. The showcase also features socially driven enterprises working with rural artisan communities to preserve traditional handmade skills.
The exhibition runs until September 12, beginning at 11 am daily, continuing the platform's mission to foster community and give independent creators visibility.
Why It Matters
This event highlights the growth and promotion of traditional Indian craftsmanship, contemporary design, and independent homegrown businesses. For audiences interested in Indian fashion, craft, and culture, the exhibition serves as a vital bridge connecting creators of handmade and artisanal goods with wider visibility and consumers.
